Covid-19: village support

The Potterspury Community Volunteer scheme has lain dormant during the summer, but the volunteers are ready to help out again if necessary.

The scheme provides a safety net for residents that may be vulnerable, those suffering from the Covid-19 virus or those being advised to self-isolate. Registered volunteers from the village will help out with collecting shopping from Cottage Stores, dog-walking, collecting prescriptions and other small jobs – even just a cheery phone call.

It is not intended to replace any measures that you already have in place (such as home deliveries, including the delivery of medication). It is a back-up measure, which we hope will provide reassurance that whatever happens, someone will be there to help if needed.

The dedicated helpline phone number is 07311 482834.

Messages are picked up within 24 hours.
